Une premi\u00e8re \u00e9tude command\u00e9e par la Conf\u00e9d\u00e9ration r\u00e9v\u00e8le que les personnes musulmanes ou per\u00e7ues comme telles subissent r\u00e9guli\u00e8rement des discriminations, des insultes et des d\u00e9savantages. Les personnes visiblement religieuses, comme celles portant le voile, sont particuli\u00e8rement touch\u00e9es.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Ce racisme a des racines structurelles, li\u00e9es \u00e0 des repr\u00e9sentations coloniales de \u00ab l\u2019islam arri\u00e9r\u00e9 \u00bb, et il est renforc\u00e9 par les discours politiques et m\u00e9diatiques.
